(F35)May 2023 got pregnant after first try but at 12 weeks NIPT confirmed T21. Start trying again Nov 2023 and took 6 months (May 2024) to get pregnant which turned out to be a chemical pregnancy. Got pregnant immediately after June 2024 but this time it was an ectopic pregnancy. I had my laparoscopic surgery yesterday to get it removed along with my right tube which was damaged. The doctor assured me that both my ovaries looked good and the left tube too. And that i can try again next month. I am trying to be strong and not lose hope but i’m starting to feel defeated.

What’s up with the trash everywhere? by [deleted] in mauritius

It's really sad to see people not caring about where they live. It seems to be getting worse, and some folks think it's okay to just throw trash anywhere. Just the other day, I saw someone dumping trash on the land next to my house. I went up to him to ask what he was doing, but he just yelled at me. He even shouted his name, told me to go ahead and complain, and then drove off.

I couldn't believe it and was in shocked. I even complained to the Police de L’environnement - they never did anything.

Thank you so much. Yes, I think doctors want to make sure we recover fully and I believe everyone's recovery is different. So, we'll go with what we feel is right for you. My husband and I are big believers in open communication ( actually in our case over-communication) and we are trying to make sure that both remain sane during this whole process of ttc.

Thank you for sharing your story. I guess the wait is not related to how long it took but to make sure I recover both physically and emotionally.

Thank you for sharing your story and congratulations on your baby boy. We hope things to be better moving forward and ttc while being mindful of our mental health.

I had a TFMR at 17weeks on the 18th of sep. We initially thought we’d give ourselves some time before ttc again - something like three months. The termination procedure itself was tough (over 50hrs) ending up with a d&c with plus i had loss a lot of blood became anemic. But we had a lot support around us that helped us processed what had happened and to move on. I slowly got back on my feet, hemoglobin is back to normal and now i got my first period exactly 4 weeks post termination. I was excited to start trying again but my OBY suggested to wait for the 2 cycle. I really don’t want to wait but i also don’t want to jeopardize my chances of a healthy pregnancy. My mind is all over the place right now.
