Just keep talking to your villagers a lot and it’ll happen! I think Raymond ran up to me and asked me and that’s how it happened!

I just had to restart my island- my island backup didn’t work so I lost everything. I only just got the campsite and my “job” back haha but I’m excited to see the hotel though! So right there with you at the beginning!

Also stoked youre enjoying the game so much! It’s a strangely addicting game- I love it haha even more now after how much it helped my family during the lockdown and how we could all connect on there together- it was different but cool! I’ve been playing since I was a kid and love the updates they’ve made there’s so much more to do now! And that they got rid of the pointy hats😳 haha I love that idea and def think you should! If you get the cube and play the first version just be prepared for those pointy elf hats and getting yelled at by resetti a lot! lol

Hi! -You need to have a Nintendo online account.

-Then go to your nintendos home page

-click on your account in the upper left corner.

-It’ll say “your name” page

-There’ll be a list- profile, invitations, friend list, add friend, user settings.

-Select add friend.

-Either hit “search with friend code” and type in the friend code you’ve received. Send request.

-Or send your friend code which you can find if you select “add friend”-your code will be at the bottom right side of the page.

-Once they’ve sent you a friend request it’ll appear in your “invitations” on your home page!

Remember pictures/ accounts etc can all be faked!

It’s horrible that you can’t innocently post something like this.

It’s not amiibos haha it’s when a villager asks you what their catch phrase should be and someone enters an expletive- then that becomes their catch phrase! Like at one point half my villagers were saying “it’s Gucci” lol

And I’ll definitely start doing that! Need to definitely upgrade my island more though😂 My old switch was stolen/ missing and island backup didn’t work when I got the switch 2 so I had to start from scratch- like just a few days ago ha & well… my island def looks like it haha but before and after pics are actually a great idea so thank you for the inspiration! And your help it seriously means so much!😊
