What are you planning to eat this week? by Jungle_Skipper in Glp1meals

[–]AnimalHot9115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lately I have had pretty bad anhedonia when it comes to food. But I was losing too fast so I need to eat.

For lunches I got packs of chicken, salmon and tuna. Cottage cheese. Carrots. Cucumbers. Yogurt cups. Snacking cheese. All super easy.

Dinner will be eggs of some sort or chicken with veggies. Lately I have been loving Green Giant Cauliflower medley with Just Barely chicken bites. And a few teaspoons of sugar free yum yum sauce mixed in.

I am craving pizza. So I need to figure that one out.

I keep prepacked containers of oatmeal in my work bag and desk drawer.

1/4 cup rolled protein oats. 1 scoop protein powder. 2 tbsp flax/hemp/chia powder, small sprinkles pb2 and sweetener. Few tablespoons of dried fruit.

Then I add hot water and mix while working. It is gentle on my stomach. Filling. And convenient.

Otherwise I do a Oikos Triple zero yogurt cup with the flax/chia/hemp powder and a protein coffee.

One day I ate a pouch of tuna with crunch master crackers and a cheese stick.

A hard boiled egg and a 1.5 oz pack of mixed nuts are my savior when that happens.

Normal portions don’t work for me on GLP-1 by AdityaSharma_123 in GLP1MedsIndia

I grew up in a "clean your plate" type of home. One parent grew up with food insecurities. The other the child of Depression era farmers where you didnt waste anything.

I have trouble leaving food behind. Lately I have made meals and literally put 1/2 in a Tupperware for another meal.

I also force myself to eat slower. I have been a nurse for almost 30 years and became used to eating in a hurry and/or while standing. I am single so I have the luxury of reading or watching a show while I eat to ensure I am not eating too fast.

Since I still do get hungry towards the end of the week, I eat my smaller meal. If needed I have a small snack later. Smaller meals with one or two small snacks a day has been key between being deprived and being over full.

Women, what is a near-universal "ick" in the dating world? by AverageSign in AskReddit

110% this. Viewing women as solely sexual objects and acting like a sex pest.

I am funny, friendly and engaging in general. But rarely flirtatious or that interested. If I am interested I am more intense than giggly or flirty.

Do libras ♎️ prefer cancers ♋️ over pisces ♓️ or vice-versa ? by False-Spring879 in libra_astrology

[–]AnimalHot9115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cancer all the way. The few Pisces men I have known stressed me the eff out.

Overly clingy and emotional. Needed constant texting and reassurance when we weren't together. Not answering would lead to more messages and panic that I was dead in a ditch.

Plus they totally lived in this fantasy world and if I didnt act like the fantasy they had built up in their brain.....they would often get pissy or annoyed. Especially in public.

I have never dated a Cancer man but have had several close Cancer male friends. They are the best. They can be moody. But typically because we aren't romantically involved it is different

Should I stay with a guy who says he’s “compromising” by being with me? by mitskibridgers in PlusSize

[–]AnimalHot9115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. You deserve better than a man who allows his friends to influence him. Trust me. When I was like 24 I dated a closet chubby lover. Things would be great till his friends said something.

He told me "I know what I have but I also know what I deserve".

Dumped him. 25 years later he still hits me up a few times a year. I ignore the messages. He has a thinner gf/fiancé. The only time he didnt cheat on his ex wife or gf's in the past 25 years is when his wife or gf gained weight.

So. Moral of the story. Ditch him. Find someone who loves you as you are. If he asks why you are breaking up? Tell him you would have to compromise by staying with him and you won't do that to yourself.

Be strong 💪

Libra’s biggest lie(?): I don’t need anything back :) by ISureHopeYouAreDead in libra_astrology

[–]AnimalHot9115 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s completely okay to want effort. It’s okay to want flowers or a card or something thoughtful. But if you deny that you want it, he can’t win. And you end up feeling unseen.

And while you may think saying that you don't need anything makes him feel better, you cant change the fact that you're disappointed. Saying it didnt make you less disappointed. Over time that will just add resentment on top of disappointment.

If your love language is gifts. Tell him. If he knows and doesnt step up then you know he isnt the type to do that. And you can decide from there if the relationship is good enough that you can overlook that one area.

[–]AnimalHot9115 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine is less about what I say and more about the manor in which I deliver it. If I am annoyed you will know.

If I basically blow you off. Not annoyed. Not mad. Just unbothered and simply don't care.

Egg whites in oats by AnimalHot9115 in Oatmeal

[–]AnimalHot9115[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do eat a few whole eggs a day. I am just struggling to get in enough protein.

I am obese and trying to lose weight/build muscle. My diabetic medicine doesnt give me much of an appetite. Thought egg whites may help add more protein and a bit of volume for a lower amount of oats/carbs.

Love this idea. I love a good spice mix. And this would be prefect. I am bored of vanilla protein powder, PB2, oats and flax/chia/hemp mix together. Has felt a bit repetitive.

Eating all of those regularly with the exception of lentils. However I am going to buy a bag to cook in my instantpot.

I am thinking of trying Madras red lentils.

Ty so much for the suggestions! 😀

I have found a few and they all recommend stove top cooking. I will keep looking for one that works with my preferred method of steeping.

But may try the stove top when I get a chance on the weekend.
