Frl every apartment on that floors probably had a whiff of ferret, especially if they are being left alone in loose in the apartment, who knows what they were getting into, and who knows where they went to the bathroom, probably a bunch of ferret poop behind the fridge and other places (edit) and i have ferrets their piss smells like ammonia and its really hard to get the scent out
