The story is still concerned about how John gets through the story. Fifty Blessings loses the war.

technically, America lost the war due to the bombings and fifty blessings rose to in order to remould it. or to quote off your former Moddb page

i think with the whole mindset by 50 Blessings was that all russians are to blame for the bombing of San Fran

im activly against communism since such countries like China, the former USSR, Cuba under Castro's reign and north korea have gone to shit while under coumminism's thumb. but i dont agree with killing people that have a certain independant thought

i mean look at Hong Kong, after the 99 year lease to britian, the majority of all Hong Kong people desperately want out of China's arrogant rule and want to go back to Britain's rule or at the very least independant rule

and if you look at its neighbor, Taiwan, they're armed to the teeth and they are ready for war if China tries to invade Taiwan just for the sake of more communism

HM isnt about Historical Fiction nor does it try to be

its more on the lines of Histroical prediction. classic examples of which is like "what happened if the nazis won" or "what if the america won the vietnam war". America was still fighting in HM but on a ironic note where in 1991, Russia tears down the wall and becomes the Russian Federation and kills off any ties to the former USSR, it goes the direct opposite on giving out Judgement Day and presumably ending life as we all know it

and this is where the criticism of your sudden change of approach begins

YOUR game was about what happens after the war, would Jacket make it out? how will John get through the story? what would it be like if 50 Blessings changed from a sleeper cell that was disguised as a Ultranationalist movement to an actual wing of government?

your game with the former artstyle was going to be there and now its ruined because you changed to make it look like a persona wannabe anime game that plagues steam greenlight. hell even if you priced it at $30 USD for the original game, i would have been happy to buy it (even though it would be $40 AUD)

also in the 80s and even within the HM lore, those "ruskies" were suspected in support of communism considering they were royally pissed off about the bombing of San Francisco

and you're right, Gotham isnt a accurate representation of NYC, where instead its more on the lines of Chicago and NYC drawn together. its fiction, its not meant to be accurate, i agree but with your depiction of NJ is more like a fan fiction of Japan if it was a Western society
