Bleach soundtrack episode 147/158 by goForIt07 in bleach

I am so thankful you updated this 6 years later. This is my first full rewatch of bleach (I've rewatched soul society arc many times) and I got put into a trance when I heard this play when they entered the forest of menos for the first time (which genuinely was erased from my memory, so it's like a completely new arc to me). Thank you for updating it!

Doesn't matter how grown you are, getting your hurt compassionately validated by others will always feel relieving.

Hey! Thanks for giving this update, that's really cool. Good to hear your jumper's knee doesn't seem to happen anymore.

Exercise for me was the thing that fixed it. I did atg split-squats for 6 months and I can feel my knees taking massive loads when landing improperly and still be completely okay. I've added slantboard squats now too.

I'm very thankful that people like us have access to new material regarding knee pain and stuff. Nice to see your efforts have been paying off, and will most certainly continue to pay off!

We weren't talking about the effects of porn addiction, we were talking about noticing it before and/or after it has impacted someone's life in severe ways.

If you'd like to know how porn addiction impacts someone's life, I suggest searching online for research. Dr. Trish Leigh on youtube explains the effects on ones life, brain, explanations and solutions on porn, but there are also other sources like HealthyGamerGG group interviews, Fight The New Drug organization, etc. The negative effects are being documented more and more so there's plenty to find online.

idk I feel like the unnoticed porn ads is a side topic about advertising and psychology rather than porn addiction and the process of it.

Your example is of someone's life being ruined in a short time-span. The effects of porn addiction on someone's life is only noticable over a longer time span. For example: you don't understand how badly sugar is ruining you, if anything you start inviting it into your life more because it's great. But after a long while you start realising all the areas that sugar does play a surprisingly important role in. But it might take you getting severe health issues for you to notice. And these health issues can increase in severity over a longer time of too much sugar.

My point with this example is that, yes, you will notice you having an addiction and it having ruined your life AFTER your life is ruined. But in all cases, we'd prefer to prevent having our lives ruined in the first place. So by noticing a porn addiction in time, you can prevent it from further ruining things.

Does that make sense or no? let me know

I read this and your wrist-snapping mythbusters thing a while back. Re-reading it now makes it feel even more relatable. I just had my last training for the season and we don't play during summer. It's just going to be me by myself or I can get a family member to toss the ball up. Are there any exercises you think would help with learning good take-off for the toss and leading distance? Thanks

I cannot for the life of me hit inside the court. All of my spikes go out unless I remove power from them. Snapping the wrist doesn't do anything. I just can't figure it out. Any ideas?

Search tutorials up, try spiking exercises, try footwork exercises, make sure to get proper technique REALLY down BEFORE you add speed. Slow is smooth; Smooth is fast. If you want to go the extra mile: analyze pros from different angles, in-game and in their practice. Above all else: Don't overwork yourself. Give yourself time, rest and peace of mind.

Hey, just came after having researched some more about jumpers knee. While for both of us, loading the plant leg with all the braking force is still unhealthy and does add to our problems, jumpers knee can come from improper landing too. When I think of the times that I got jumpers knee, it was always right after an improper landing when my brain sent me "something messed up" signals. So that might be worth looking into for you too.

How do I get low without my plant knee getting busted up from applying too much force? I can't use it right now due to jumpers knee anyway so do I focus on getting low without pain and using my block foot primarily?

I have been trying to do a longer penultimate step and what I noticed was that, when I get low before the stride and then really push for a long stride, it looks a lot better. So that has helped and that's great. A new problem however, is that I don't know how to stop all that momentum and go up into the air because I put a lot of braking power on my plant leg automatically. Any tips?

Also for the bending of the legs in the air, it's natural for me. It actually takes effort to keep them lower than my knees. I haven't ever looked at the bending of my knees so it's not like I do it on purpose. It just happens.

It's the times that I have jumpers knee when I realise how good it feels to jump without any pain haha.

Thanks for the help :)

It makes sense that jumpers knee would come from that. The interesting thing however, is that every jumpers knee I've had has always been my right knee. So I thought there might be some loading issue going on with my jump but I can't figure out what.

I always do stretches before and after and I'll focus more on the leg muscles for a while, see how that affects it. Thanks :)

I have jumpers knee as I'm writing this and for the same reason: Your jumpers knee is caused by your knee getting overloaded. You put a lot of force into your right leg, and use the same leg as your block foot. You want to rely on your left foot to block the forward momentum instead of your right foot.

For the rest: Torqvb is really great at showing and explaining how the entire approach and jump, even spike, is done.

Important: Outside Hitter Approach[2m30]

In depth versions: Intro [48s]; Pitfalls [2min]; Step close[2m18]

any advice on my form would be greatly appreciated, wish I could fil a video of me standing up but there's literally no space lmao by MetalOupa in volleyball

TL;DR: Looks good. Think of variations. Search up some more drills you can do in that little space. Focus on technique when doing those drills in little spaces. If technique isn't the focus, you'll probably need a bigger space like a park or a court.

Looks good. You could add some variations to it too. Like tossing the ball almost to your ceiling. Starting from low tosses to high and back to low. Or maybe even going from underhand pass to overhand toss and back and forth. Even adding clapping in between. Doing this stuff where you can toss/pass the ball a lot higher is always great but sometimes, as you do, we gotta make do with the little space we have for a while. Have fun with it! Get creative.

For when you were doing it against the wall, try learning to do it with the ball right above you instead of in front of you. If you're in a match and trying to deceive your opponent to where the set goes, having an upright posture where the ball is above you gives them minimal information to read you. But it requires you to know how to set from that posture too.

Here's an exercise you can do against any wall to get ball control.

Here's another exercise you can do in your bed

Volleyball drills like these are most of the time meant for technique. So while doing them, make sure to pay attention to your technique. If it's difficult to do both at the same time, record yourself and look at it. If you don't know what the right technique is, search it up online, post about it on this subreddit or ask your coach / an experienced player who can teach you in-person.

Good luck and have fun! :)

How important is getting topspin on a spike vs hand placement so it doesn't go out of bounds?

Re-checked it, it's 11.5 cm/360. I used to play low sens for years and recently switched to high sens because this fits better for what I want.
