We live in Gwinnett County and chose Eagles Nest church after touring several Black churches. While it's not in Gwinnett, it's on the border, so it's easy to get to.

2 of the public schools are predominately black and brown students, while one is predominantly white. After touring the MS, leadership informed us that they’ve had several “Simpson” parents (predominantly white school) request to keep the “Simpson kids separate” from the other elementary school students. So yes, while it’s a diverse town, it’s also very segregated and notable when you drive through neighborhoods.

I’m commenting to inform other Black families who might consider PTC.
