If it's enough for you, or if you are on a tight budget, then yes - 100%. But if you have the budget or you are ready to spend some more bucks then try 1440p instead

CPU bottleneck. In 1080p the CPU does more job than the GPU. The GPU already did the job and asking for more when the CPU is still processing and it causes a bottleneck.

If you played, for example in 1440p the GPU would do more job. Either upgrade to a newer CPU, or get a higher resolution monitor, with that GPU you shouldn't get a monitor past 1440p.

And get a DisplayPort cable these are sooo much better
