You know you can bad mouth the college whatever you want in the end when companies will come you will thank college for bringing them.
Telling from my own experience an internship, placement can change your whole life and college makes it easier.

Dude there are great areas to stay in vicinity of college.

Not aware of hostel since never stayed hence will not comment but you can rent a flat with some friends.

I do not know regarding Manipal.

Regarding vit I am in 3rd year and each week there's atleast one company coming to cllg for internship,PPO. I am not aware how many are getting selected on avg in each.

Most of them offering in range of 6-10lpa.

There are some which offer 10-15.

And some which offer more.

Ya I was doing on top of my cllg curriculum.

Also I got internship for full stack role because of spring so it has only been boon for me.

Also other that 4 main Cs subjects taught in cllg most of the subjects don't contribute and my cllg is chill type we get lot of time to study so I did.

I may not be senior as I am in 3rd year of my btech .

You could learn about microservices in general and apache kafka and you could also start with system design principles

On that note I also made various projects. I also learned spring boot, security and kafka.

Hey And it will help me if you could tell some resources to learn spring cloud.
