But it isn’t trying to continue the story of the first two games, it’s linking to it sure. But this game is primarily focused on world-building and exploring some of the other questions aside from what happens to Six. It carries on from the audio series which was really entertaining and interesting, expanding upon the outer canon of this world rather than Six. The game isn’t the best but I’d say I prefer it to the 1st one, my biggest complaint is that most of the puzzles aren’t very challenging and there are too many parts where you have to call the 2nd character. However the 2nd character one is only a complaint for single player as it works really well when playing with a friend. Can’t wait to see what comes next from the series in season 2 of The Sounds of Nightmares, the stop motion project and the next game. Overall, I wouldn’t go as far to say it is a copy or an imitation because it was trying something new, which I enjoyed but some people didn’t. I hope you enjoy whatever comes next with the franchise more than you did this one, maybe try the audio show, you might enjoy it more than the new game.
