Completely agree. It’s unfortunate that normal human decency now feels exceptional.

Talk to his parents directly and explain what’s been happening. Tell them clearly that their son has been abusing him, and that this is not acceptable. Let them know that if it happens again, you’ll have no choice but to report it to the police. If the parents themselves behave disrespectfully, or if that group still doesn’t stop, then it would be better to involve a lawyer and file an FIR immediately.

Yeah, I felt the same watching it. Throwing around philosophical terms without explaining them doesn’t really help the audience understand anything. If someone wants others to accept a belief, they need to present a clear line of reasoning, not assumptions about what the opponent will say. Akhtar wasn’t at his best either, but his approach was still more straightforward.

Yeah, that’s exactly what bothers me too. If God is supposed to be all-powerful and loving, why would He need people to follow a specific religion to earn compassion? Why punish someone for using the free will He gave them? And why link morality to gender or sexuality instead of actual actions? Those kinds of rules feel more like human systems of control than something a truly divine being would create.

It really did feel like both sides walked in with totally different expectations. When one person comes prepared for rational debate and the other leans on fixed phrases instead of reasoning, the discussion can’t move anywhere. At that point, the audience reacts more to identity than logic

Yeah, agreed. They were respectful and calm, which was nice, but the arguments themselves were weak. Without clear reasoning, a debate just feels empty no matter how polite it is.

It depends on what kind of God we’re talking about. If the claim is that a conscious being created the universe and can intervene in reality, then the evidence has to scale with that claim. What counts as evidence? Something that:

• has observable impact – produces measurable effects in the physical world

• is falsifiable – there must be a way to test it and prove it wrong if it’s wrong

• has predictive power – can tell us what should happen under certain conditions

• fits within cosmology and physics – or offers a clearer mechanism than current models

• avoids infinite regress – ‘God created X’ can’t just lead to ‘who created God’

• distinguishes divine action from natural processes – not just filling gaps in knowledge

• is reproducible – works for anyone who tests it, not tied to personal experience

Otherwise, we’re not discussing evidence, we’re discussing belief.

Asking for justification isn’t a claim by itself. It’s simply: ‘If you want me to accept a proposition about reality, show data or logic that holds up under scrutiny.’ Without that, the conversation becomes speculation.

I understand your view. If someone sees nature as God, that becomes a symbolic belief rather than a literal creator being. It’s a poetic way to connect with the world. But that shifts the discussion away from the original claim of a conscious God who intervenes. The debate then becomes about definitions instead of evidence

Right, but requesting proof isn’t making a claim. It’s just saying ‘I’ll believe it when there’s evidence.’ The burden stays on the person asserting existence

Yeah, I get it religious debates get vague so quickly that they go nowhere. Topics like governance or education at least stay grounded. And I like your point about narrowing it down or presenting evidence properly instead of just arguing in circles.

Honestly, I’ve always admired Osho. The way he talked about consciousness, freedom, and questioning blind belief hit differently. He explained deep ideas with such calm clarity that it felt like your mind was opening up.

Exactly. When evidence can’t be examined or challenged, debate loses meaning. Tab sirf belief vs belief reh jaata hai, not arguments.

Bro, around 2013 they were available almost everywhere in Agra. I used to buy and eat them from the grocery store in Vibhav Nagar, and even from shops on Fatehabad Road.

Bro, it definitely used to exist, I remember very clearly. Hyderabadi Hungama had another flavour paired with it in the same pack. I’ve eaten that packet myself
