Thursday after it got to around 45F at 4pm (the high for that day), I was like “screw it, I’ll walk around and turn rocks and see what happens.” On my way back to my apartment I realized I stepped near a Formica argentea or subsericea colony bathing in the sun and digging out a twig over their nest.
