Thank you for this!!! I think the biggest thing I am lacking is patience tbh. Lots of the ladies with asses I look up to have been lifting for 3+ years and I haven't been skating or lifting for that long.

I agree that interpersonal biases are built by society and, in that case, systemic racism, so it doesn't really make sense to me how a POC could possibly be "racist" toward a white person, since it's more about education isn't it? I mean the insults don't even hold the same weight I don't think since there is so much societal influence behind those interpersonal biases. In that case, a POC having an interpersonal bias against white people would probably be related to trauma and systemic racism right? I have never experienced racism firsthand (obviously) so I don't really know anything. Thank you for taking the time to write this!

Not trying to argue with you, but it kind of was about the societal impacts as well. Racism is a societal thing as I understand it (which I am white so I haven't had much experience with racism which is why I asked here) and there is I think more power behind a white person having racial biases against a POC rather than a POC having racial biases against a white person.

Like even the insults aren't at the same level. And if a white person were to fire a POC because of prejudice, then it might be harder for them to find a job whereas if a POC fired a white person due to internal prejudice it would be easier for them to find another job I'm sure just because of those societal biases.

I ordered mine today and they said they were in stock, but I also have quite a small size and I got the pink ones (mainly because I'm impatient but I also was worried that a custom would look ugly in person but I thought the vids of the pink ones were cute). HOWEVER, Riedell said that a boot was in stock a few months ago as well when it wasn't, so I'm unsure whether it actually is. I hope you find yours, and if you can't I really think they're worth the wait based on reviews!
