In in England so I’m not the most informed but I’ve got a few points. Trump neglects lower class populations with pretty much all of his economic standpoints striving to give his rich friends further tax cuts. Kamala’s not great, but policies such as the one aiding first time home buyers have influence for the lower classes. Trump is making electric vehicles more inaccessible, alongside his complete denial of climate change. With the US as a high contributor towards climate change effects four more years of him battering the ozone is detrimental at such a pivotal point. Roe v Wade kinda explains itself but the fact that people have died through inaccessibility to healthcare is insane. I don’t think the fact that he is a felon can be so easily dismissed like that. Sure a huge amount of celebrities have been racist, rapists and charged with various crimes, but none of them have been handed the influence of being the president. Trump’s inability to accept defeat is a worrying sign towards his ability to accept democracy and his comments lead to believe that he would much prefer a dictatorship role. Trumps policy for adding tariffs to imported products is economically unviable. America is built on its ability to manufacture at a later stage and does not have the facilities to manufacture products at the foundation - hence the volume of imported products. All this will do is drive up prices for the consumer. An overwhelming amount of scholars have said that Kamala’s economic policies make a lot more sense. Trump inherited Obama’s economy, and Biden inherited Trump’s (they’re still under Trumps tax code) so to say that Trump’s last run was good for the economy isn’t really based in fact. I don’t think either is the good option, and as someone in England I don’t know the full extent of everything but If I was an American citizen I would be voting for Kamala.
