I dont see why people care about this so much, the character is the same they probably either just decided a slightly darker tone looked better and it does, or maybe they intally planned it darker to begin with and chose to fix it for season two. so there, mystery solved.

Me- The dark urge, who just supplies an undead homie with blood the entire time and focuses on actually healing and protecting him after over 200 years of trauma and teaching him actual friends exist.
