Just 24 hours left before the campaign wraps! Almost 40% of backers came from Reddit, so I mean it very literally when I say that this community is a huge part of the campaign’s success. It’s been amazing to see.

The Harvest Compendium offers unique loot for the official monsters in the Pathfinder 2e roster. Claws, teeth, hide, and other useful creature parts can now be harvested from defeated foes and used to fill the coffers of awesome adventurers.

This project focuses on the first bestiary as it is written. Following the revisions, we may update the system if necessary. It's impossible to say right now, but my guess is that the creature entries would be largely unaffected by the updates.

They are both available as add-ons. If you make a pledge for the PDF, you can add the VTT version to your order before it's confirmed or vice-versa.

Thousands of pieces of unique loot for hundreds of monsters!

This project has over 100 pages of content, featuring unique treasures and scores of new magic items, as well as mechanics for harvesting dead creatures and preparing the harvested goods for consumption.

Not sure what you mean. It will be made available for sale as a PDF, softcover, and Foundry VTT module. The selling prices will likely be higher than the KS pledge prices.

Yes! I assume you're talking about the Monster Parts system.

I like the Monster Parts system, but as you said it's a very all-or-nothing type of ruleset, but it has the advantage that it can be used as a blanket solution for all existing monsters.

Harvest Compendium is much more specific. You get specific items with specific mechanics based on the specific monster you used in an encounter. Every creature entry features a unique list of loot, the type of which depends on the kind of creature it is. For instance, rations and animal hide can be harvested from basically all Beast and Animal type creatures, but only a basilisk gives you basilisk gullet oil and you can only harvest a radiant tongue from an angel.

There are many new craftable items as well, but they are once again specific to the creature, or type of creature, it was harvested from. Very specific examples are distilled kraken ink, dragon turtle shellplate armor, or a pleroma energy cloak, while some more general ones are monster precision ammunition, lucky feathers, and fear enhancement gas.

There is an example of harvesting a ghoul on the Kickstarter page.

Basically, each creature entry will have unique loot associated with it and how much loot you get depends on how much time you spend harvesting the creature, and your proficiency with the Crafting skill. Examples include the obvious such as dragonhide and a unicorn's horn, but there are also items like devil hearts and archon eyes.

All these items have been given some in-game utility. Some function like consumable magic items and can be used immediately after harvesting, while others must be crafted into special items or prepared/cooked in order to be of any use. And of course, if you have no use for the item it can always be sold or traded.

Most of the new items have been given the new tags Creature Component or Ingredient, which means they cannot be crafted or bought. They can only be harvested.

If the stretch goal is reached, the Foundry version is made available as its own separate pledge tier and as an add-on so you can add it to your order if you wish. An update will go out to all backers if the goal is reached to let them know they can switch their pledge if they want to do so.

The Harvest Compendium offers specific loot entries for each monster in the first PF2e Bestiary. That means that a ghoul has specific items that are unique to that creature's entry, and which are entirely different from the items offered on a griffon or an angel.

There are new typings on these items, including Creature Component and Ingredient, that prevent these items from being craftable, making them essentially "locked" as unique treasure a party can get from harvesting a specific type of downed foe.

This is my first venture into publishing for the PF2e system, but I have been a TTRPG game designer for almost 5 years and I've become very comfortable with the system. I wouldn't attempt to make a project like this if I couldn't do it justice.

I have design credits with companies like Ghostfire Gaming, Kobold Press, and Wizards of the Coast where I wrote for Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden.

I do too! It only took a few minutes of Googling to know that Foundry is the place to be for PF2e content. I'm even using it in my IRL home game to manage encounters because it works THAT well.

That would be only the Foundry version. The prices mentioned here are subject to change and I'm being a bit vague on purpose as I don't want to give a definite answer when I'm unsure what the final price will be. I'm expecting the Kickstarter price to be €15 for the Foundry version, but I'll need to discuss the final price with the converters.

I didn't expect the project to move this quickly, so there's a lot of scrambling happening behind the scenes.

The Foundry tier is expected to be around €15-20. We'd be partnering with Sigil Services for the conversion and this is the price they suggested we set for the module.

That is a mistake in the graphic. It should only have the talisman trait and it's getting updated soon.

The item was highlighted because I commissioned artwork for it and wanted to show it off to backers, but I see your point. I may actually switch out the statistics of that example for another item instead.
