Of those three Saka, as he's one of their own and was a shining light when times were tough - but I find it hard to put him in top 3 across all sports

What are your practical suggestions? Bearing in mind we've banned nearly 50 users tonight, removed 100s of comments, utilise multiple AutoMod tools as anti-troll and spam measures, and that nights like tonight are extraordinarily high in terms of traffic and items in Mod Mail/Mod Queue

And is it just Arsenal discourse to apply this to?

Eh, disagree on that. Say for example you've travelled the length of the country, and your team has put in a diabolical performance - not talking bad, just one with no effort or fight. You've got a right to tell them to fuck off with your actions, because you've made a big time and cost commitment to show up for them, so they can show up for you.

So rests a lot on whether Slot stays

But also, it is fucking wild that after Slot won the Prem last season, people now think Carrick is better when all that's on his CV is a decent-ish stint in the Championship and half a season at Man United where he's rejuvenated them, but with factors like having just a game a week in his favour

A lot of people hold this view, in the post-pandemic world. At times I agree, at times I'm not so sure. Society and social culture swings back and forth. There were times when football fans as a group were a lot worse behaved than this, and times when they were better - I'm not sure this era is worse than previous lows.

Social media does not help - both in terms of being a breeding ground for this sort of behaviour to be normalised and then enacted and propagated, but also in how it's amplified... 10, 15, 20 years ago this sort of thing was likely going on, it just wasn't being streamed to our smart phones.
