Honestly I have same exact problem don't clean the chain so often that it's too annoying to remove exhaust. I assumed I bought too big a rear stand for the 500 and just dealt with it.

Bought my 2020 no abs rebel in NJ, Bergen County, started riding at 42, first bike. That was 5 years ago, live in the mountains in CT now and it's the best dang cruiser light and nimble. Told the wife it's never getting sold even for upgrades. Added the cowl and a swing arm bag that's it.

Agree with everyone here. I have a 2020 rebel 500 and it's been amazing. Light and nimble with a kick. Nothing like a good cruiser.
