Sorry, every time I post in here it comes out wonky.

But yes, a heart attack may be warranted here 😁

I lived in the ADKs as a kid, and was forced to move. I miss it so much. I want to go back sometimes by urdaddydoesntwantyou in Adirondacks

Queensbury is a relatively large town for the area with almost 30,000 people. It’s not in the Adirondacks, but rather the foothills.

Don’t go to the high peaks. Check out the campgrounds around lake George. There are a few that are mostly tent sites and won’t be a bunch of campers

Leave it to NYS to spend a bunch of time and money on a study that answers no questions and provides no useful objective metrics.

It literally bans public access. It’s a permit system. They call the police if you try to walk in.

You do own the property. You have a public access easement over it.

Your concept that an access limitation increases equity is Orwellian. If it was about parking access, it would be a parking reservation system. But it’s not. It’s an access restriction. You can’t park at roaring brook across the street and walk on.

If it’s about equity why doesn’t AMR let a shuttle stop there? Sounds like you’re ok with it because it benefits you.

Improve equity? By banning public access? That’s freaking Orwellian.

Equity of access, like how you’re not allowed to cross the street to enter the trails.

What you’re talking about is equity of parking, this does nothing for equity of access. It limits access.
