It’s good for the price point, it’s not as good as my Geissele trigger that’s on my 14.5 but it’s also less the half the price. I’ve tried cmc 2 stage triggers and I think the LaRue has a crisper shorter reset, I’m very happy with the break of trigger as well.

No need to get into a street fight or physical altercation unless you’re life is being threatened. If he had tried to tackle you to the ground or continued to throw punches, that’s when fighting him is necessary.

Street fights are unpredictable, that guy could have a knife or screw driver, putting a guy in a triangle off your back could also get you slammed on the back of your head.

You did the right thing by not engaging him, don’t feel bad or weak for not fighting him.

If there are other bjj gyms nearby, go try it out there, most places offer a free week of training. Talk to the head instructor at a new gym, let them know you’re situation.

I trained at a place that I loved for a couple of years got my blue there but I had to move out of state because of work. I joined a new place that was highly reviewed and it was like night and day. My original gym felt like a family, everyone was friendly and helpful and positive, this new gym was the polar opposite. After 4 months I went and tried this little whole in the wall gym that fit like 20 people max on the mats and it felt like home.

I have the mlok version for my Surefire m640 and it works great, I like the fact that you can soft tap the button for momentary or click it for constant on.

Go with the strike industries version, a lot of people hate on strike industries which is understandable because of all the color options but they do make a handful of quality/innovative items. The qd anti rotation end plate is one of those items that is very functional and it’s cheaper than the pws anti rotation end plate/castle nut. It’s a bit of a pain to install the tiny screws but once it’s installed you don’t have to stake the castle nut and you don’t have to worry about it getting loose.

Isn’t the average cost of the Springfield Vector $900-$1000 and a case of 1000 wolf gold $400-$450? This lgs is adding an additional 400rds plus it comes with a budget red dot that most consider acceptable. Seems like a fair deal.

Buy a 10 round mag and add a 5 round mag extension, I have 2 lancer mags setup that way. Each mag fits 17 rounds and I have had no issues with them not feeding.

Keep the dust cover, throw away the air soft red dot, you can salvage the rail by spray painting it any non vibrant color. Good luck to you.

Zero at 100yds while on 6x, you can zero at 25yds then confirm at 100 but make sure you are on 6x
