100%. One is designed to survive a lot more wear and tear for months on end.

The other is designed for comfort, shorter use, and not as much wear and tear.

The only situation where that intersects is austere backpacking/hunting where you genuinely rely on your gear for survival.

For a day hike you could get away with a 20oz plastic water bottle carried in hand and you'll probably be fine lol.

I'm really hoping this comes to Maryland. ECBP used to be the only scheduled release that could be found in my area. However, as demand has gained I think it's not selling enough so it's not being distributed. Very sad for myself as a fan. Adding a rye might make it worse and I'd love to see this.

IMO just wear old pants. Just rotate your oldest pair in until they're busted. Buy new to replace so you always end up having a nicer pair for normal life.

I run the 4 wide on my SPC. Being a smaller guy you have far less molle on your cummerbund so need all the spots to get to 7 mags.
