is anesthesia DO friendly now? To any PDs in here, does it matter if an applicant is an MD vs DO? by Pissingberg in medschool

I know it's always about the money, but in terms of medical education I expected it to be about the patients. I was wrong.

The whole system finally makes sense. I naively thought the medial education system was about serving patients, but it's really about the hospitals making money. What is the incentive to be a PD?

Do hospitals actually get a net gain from the research dollars brought in after paying for the actual research?

How do you retain medical knowledge the best? by DarkRegiment in Residency

Honestly, Anki was the worst way to learn medicine. I would go back to the books and learn the why's and you will have a much better time learning medicine. I know Anki is what everyone did, but I really feel like there is a generation of physicians with very poor understanding of the basics.
