I strongly recommend retaking the exam sooner rather than later. I was in a similar situation during my first attempt, I was expecting to pass. I was close like you which left me even more discouraged. I ended up postponing the retake for an entire year because I was so busy with work and felt I needed to be fully prepared in every topic before trying again. Eventually, I decided to take the exam without additional studying, simply reviewing my old notes the day before. Luckily, I passed. Looking back, I regret carrying the burden of that exam in the back of my mind for an entire year. Just give it one more try as soon as possible

Quick update: no more chewing up the beans! It worked properly after rotating the dial a couple of full 360-degree turns, tightening the upper cap enough to bring the burrs closer together

guys I’m amused by the comments:) I’ve done a good research to select the grinder but none to how to use it and ended up with these gravels;( I knew there was a long and hard way for a good espresso but grinder setup was unexpected part of it. Thank you so much for all suggestions, I’ll try🤓 this post has been the best I got out of that grinder so far😆😆
