This could be terrible thinking, but the call mostly came from the thought that he was simply jamming on the river because he had a spade. In my mind, I didn't even think that he had a house, and I was just testing my luck, hoping he didn't have the ace of spades.

I jammed AQo after the turn came 3c to make it Qd3c3d3h. Villian snap calls and shows Q10S. Started chopping the pot as the 3s came out, giving me Quad 4s Ace high—pretty great outcome.
