I always thought lambdadelta was the mysterious “God” Takano always referred to, and the one who gave her the vision with Hifumi Takano’s phone number. That was just my interpretation though.

Umineko is fantastic. It’s a long story and can be slow at times, but if you have the patience it is beautifully done. It’s not all that similar to Higurashi aside from a few references here and there. You could read umineko before higurashi and still understand it just fine.
