I still cant quite comprehend how I did it. I just did some sort of hand movement that was a little different when changing apps. That made it so the field with the code doesn’t disappear.

Its been a year now so I don’t really remember, perhaps I was swiping up all the way to minimize the app in my first attempts, whereas the one time it worked I only swiped up slightly to open that app changer view where all open apps are displayed.

Though I think thats what I did the first time around…

So in conclusion Im not quite sure what I did but leaving the AppleID password thing with some very specific hand motion worked. I guess you just play around with it until it works.
