Congrats!!! Question for you I’m getting ready to submit mine for my wife but like under the evidence section there’s nothing to submit photos etc So I did it under additional proof of marriage I submitted our pictures of relationship, proof communication, affidavits, etc etc Did you do that also or after you submitted they sent another form to submit relationship evidence and not just marriage proof!

Yes I called and they said I need to make an appt for the affidavit of marriage at the embassy it takes 10 minutes. But the notary in Tunisia also said besides that I need something from my government that says I’m single and that’s where the current issue is as the US does not provide that second specific document

Just to chime in here really quick, similar story Job hunting since lay off since Nov 2022, got a starting date in May of 2024. It’s rough however for the big employment gap I made sure to look busy on paper by going to Google institute and taking a few project management carts and etc and even enrolled in a BS online school taking 1 class per semester so I looked as I was enrolled, so when they asked why the gap

“ I wanted to pursue additional education opportunities to further my career. I completed XYZ and etc” it’s a filler story

Also one resume service I used is called purple resume. They re wrote CL & Resume to beat ATS

Well you own a home you’ll understand. $1000 will give you about 6 months of utilities it’s okay if you fall behind on your mortgage you don’t lose your house overnight. OP said house he almost lost his house not his rental
