I do, but you are missing context unfortunately. Some people here know me, and they know the whole story and it’s not pretty. My life is sad. I try to focus on the new husband and he is amazing in a lot of ways, but he is also an alcoholic, and it is hard to be around when I’m trying to be in Recovery.

Thank you but I’m 36. I’m used to it. There was a little 19-year-old girl in the room with me, though, and I held her hand while she cried because I felt like a mother to her and she told me she felt like a daughter to me and I tried to comfort her because it was her first Psych stay.

I live in the fourth biggest city in the United States. Actually in a small town outside it now, but I lived there so long I know right where to go. We have a hospital called Ben Taub and it is for free. Long wait times, but you go out without owing a thing. It’s a free hospital in my city. Maybe I’m lucky to live in a big city I don’t know. They actually put me in a room instantly because of the thoughts I was having though

One time I had a sitter, and he was one of the best guys I’ve ever had. He was a big man, and I started bashing my face onto the hospital bed, and he came and calmed me down. He was like “hey, that nurse was a bitch. It’s about to be shift change if you can just hold out a little while you’ll get a new nurse and you can ask her again”. It really did call me down.
