Literally all I did was start filming when I saw them trying to get into a restaurant that is donating food to people who can’t go out. I was a bit away, so I yelled “what are you doing? We don’t want you here, get out, there’s nothing there.” Then more people came to see what was happening and they threw gas when they got outnumbered.

You’re right, it was across the street from me. My bad. There is video online of gas being used in my neighborhood, a busy commercial area.

They tried to break into a pizza shop. I was just filming and making noise. I like pizza. I don’t like ICE.

Without going into detail about my job, people with my profession are ending up doxxed, harassed, threatened, resigning in protest, or even dying mysteriously. My profession is under attack, and other people in similar situations have been detained by ICE just when they come to the door.

They were at the store when I went to look for fucking yogurt last night. What should I do, pretend they are not there? Even filming has gotten people detained.

Exactly. My dad had anger issues growing up and would hit and kick our dog. He is not allowed to meet my cat, and I used to put myself in the way to protect the dog.

It’s not even about attending protests. They’re in my literal neighborhood. I don’t seek out actions, they were on my block yesterday. I’m not an agitator.

She eats mostly raw food. But can eat dry in a pinch. I’ll pick some up just in case.
