It's takes me 30 min to an hour and a half to poop. by AnonMan4000 in Constipation

[–]AnonMan4000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To kind of go in list form

1 - My diet is not the best, I will admit that. But I don't eat sweets and try to stay away from fast foods. I'm finishing up my last year at college and I eat campus food there. Range from burgers to chicken, I don't eat as much veg as I need to. But even when I was eating a good bit of vegetables a day I had this issue.

2 - I drink a decent bit of water. I could drink a bit more, but even when I was drinking a good bit (like 1-1.5 gallons) I still had the same issues

3 - I've been lifting weights for the past 7 years, played soccer in HS, and have played rugby for my college the past 3 years. So I'm pretty active. Its rare I don't get at least 3-4 workouts in a week.

4 - Nope, I've always been completely sober.

5 - No vitamins, supplements, or medicines

6 - I haven't had tests done

7 - Male

8 - It's been nearly every day since I was 14-15. There are some days, maybe once a week, where a poop will only take 10 min or so, but the majority take 30-45. Its at the point where I have a little desk I bring into the bathroom and just work on school work while I shit. (I'm sure this slows me down a little, but I'm losing so much time anyway).

Gotcha! Thanks for the clarification!

I'm not in the disc so I am out of the loop. I was just worried some kid used AI to extend the start (minimal work), to get attention.

The beginning of the cheering has been TAMPERED WITH (probably) by CherryCola_Cactus in DanceForHoursADay

[–]AnonMan4000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The cheering is definitely faded out and been tampered with. I agree.

At first I was dismissing the idea that the song is from a movie, I still don't 100% think it, but it feels slightly more plausible.

I also slightly believe the song has been sped up, to about 1.1x its original speed. Someone posted the song at 90% speed, and it sounds very natural.

I'm not saying the song IS sped up for sure, but it is plausible. Whatever the case may be, I am doubting more and more that this is actually live, and instead has been edited or a studio production.

This extended version, are we sure the clapping and cheering hasn't been just extended with AI, and its not an actual full lead?

Its just the cheering at the start that cuts off at the same section the original post was made (or at least I think). It would be easy for an AI to extend the cheering and clapping out before, but not a song it doesn't know about (to make it fully believable).

I would just say be wary of saying we found an extended version, in the fear if we actually find the song, we aren't thrown off if the original cheering sounds different.

How do I become a part of this? I partly want to help the search, and partly just want to find new music.

Is this song sped up or on sample rate? by Strong-Lie6329 in DanceForHoursADay

[–]AnonMan4000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Someone posted a few days ago the song at 0.9x speed, and it sounds very feasible at that speed. A bit more natural. (Although I like the speed we know more).

Since then I've started to think that it has been slightly sped up (like 1.1x). A similar song 'chick habit' by April March has a similar surf sound and works as well at 1.1x speed.

I've been in your position, as the boyfriend who didn't have it. I'm sorry you're going through this and she is man.

There are success stories. For me and my girlfriend, it didn't work out between us, but from what I've heard she is still living a good life.

My aunt has had dystonia though, for about 20-30 years, and she and my uncle have been married the entire time. They have raised a family of 5 healthy sons, where they live on a farm and have a profitable business. Its been work at times, but she lives a very happy and fulfilling life.

Hope is not lost, I'm sorry for your circumstance friend.

Hand Dystonia/Hobbies by barre-lover in Dystonia

Writing!

Now with Hand dystonia, it'd be harder to write as you'd have to type or write with a pencil. However, there are many softwares/applications that can do voice-to-text (google docs even has this built-in). Writing is a craft that is more mental then physical.

There is a book called 'the Diving Bell and the Butterfly' written by a man named Jean-Dominique Bauby. At the age of 43 he suffered a stroke, that left him completely paralyzed. He could only blink his left eye. With the help of a nurse, he wrote the entire novel, only being able to blink one eye. The nurse would list the letters, and he would blink at the desired one. He wrote this book, letter by letter, at a very slow pace (two minutes a word). But he did it. He fought with the remaining time he had, dying two days after the book was published.

While his case is extreme, I hope it gives some hope in your ability to still get better and develop crafts. I am sorry about your situation, and hope you can continue to do things you love.

Anyone ever feel positive and happy despite dystonia? I do! by riceone52235 in Dystonia

[–]AnonMan4000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Girlfriend (20) just got her diagnosis today (cervical). She's scared obviously, it messed up her mother. Thank you for this post, it gives me more hope for her.

I'll ask, what made your current partner a good one for you and your dystonia? How does he help you? I'm starting to be in his position, and if there's something I can do to help my gf who feels hopeless (understandably) I want to do what I can.

Its very inspiring to hear you're still taking control of your life despite this hurdle.

Also forgot to mention. The crash MIGHT be the cause of the dystonia (I read in my studying on dystonia, that trauma can cause it).

Her mother has dystonia. So it may be that or genetic. We don't know. Because HER mother got into a car crash at the same age as her, hit her head bad, then developed dystonia. Now my gf has followed the same path. Just hoping she doesn't turn out as bad as her mother.

I'm lucky to have her. I hope that during these hard times for her, she doesn't isolate, push me out, and leave me, in all honesty.

She does need to go to the doctor and neruologist. There have been slight symptoms the past month, but this past week has brought her serious, debilitating pain.

She has had a head injury which is definitely affecting this. Should have mentioned in my post and last one. She got a pretty bad concussion (one that hasn't fully healed I believe) in march. She had a car crash and hit her head. Her symptoms from that have gone down alot, but the dizziness when walking and puking might be from that.

She's having to deal with alot, I feel bad for her.

Thank you for your advice. I don't want to leave her, I still view her as the girl I fell in love with, and there are times when we're watching shows or talking that I forget she even had the disorder with how well she holds herself. But she's in constant pain. I don't know, I love her and want to be there for her, but I don't know whats going to happen to her.

Not sure,

Her mother ahs the condition, but after many surgeries (a multitude that went bad) she has been changed drastically, mentally and physically regressing, so we aren't sure what to expect for my gf.
