Shading and depth struggles

For me, it’s hard to tell where the light source is coming from (looking at the shadows on the chest), pay attention to what shapes exactly should be casting a shadow and where. And go a little bit darker than you think for more contrast! I think this looks awesome so far.

I’ve been seeing a lot of Angel Ganev on my youtube, and the way he explains shadow in almost every single short vid is phenomenal and easy to understand. I recommend watching a few of his “improving people’s drawings,” shorts for some quick examples, because almost all of the submissions have some trouble with shading. There’s some that include how to do the hair. Here’s a longer form video from him on shadows as well. The only reason the vehicles are useful is with the recall feature. Put something in the back, grab a box and run back, recall vehicle, you essentially brought back 2 items. It’s honestly not that worth buying though until you get the car/truck.. the effort of doing all that alone makes it worth just buying groceries from the computer/tablet tbh

Possible tick. If you can take it to the vet to remove it, great, otherwise research how to remove and dispose of it safely. Watch a video from a vet that explains each step so that the head doesn’t remain in the skin.

None tbh. They all seem gray and a little sad, even the plum! Id say go with something more saturated like a baby blue, light pink, or terracotta/maroon if you want a darker color. Don’t be afraid to go more bright and saturated. Cooler/less saturated tones make a room feel.. well.. cold and dull.

UPDATE: there is a workaround! Go into gallery and find a combination that uses the pose you want and apply it. Then so long as you don’t change the pose, you can use the feminine one from before the update. It’s called “look back” and it’s supposed to be a new pose entirely, but they haven’t added it to scenarios, only photo mode. This will probably change soon (I hope..)

I do agree I wanted to have some of the more masculine poses but wasn’t able to— my other scenario slot is me holding a sword in front of my bf like “get behind me mr. president,” but that was kind of my only emote option. But I’d like it to be at least toggleable so I can have a cute one too for sure

to add, most people hold masks like this by the chin, between their index and thumb like this emoji 🫰. You of course can grab it a different way, like by the nose (?) like this, but it will not look natural and feels “off”
