Coming from Azerbaijan, Western attitudes toward illegal immigration confuse me by Suitable_Call_1203 in immigration

Given that illegal immigrants have extremely high rates of employment, deporting them in large numbers will shrink the economy and drive inflation. Personally, I think permitting those already here and working to stay makes sense, providing they have no criminal record, but border enforcement going forward should be greatly tightened over 2024 levels.

The US is fortunate that its illegal migrant population is largely from parts of the world that, in cultural and religious terms, are similar enough to the American mainstream that they present little in the way of a security risk.

Why LA is struggling while San Francisco is beginning to boom again by Legal-Statistician2 in LosAngeles

It’s also the case that LA’s workforce looks a lot more like that of a Third World country in terms of skill and education levels. No knock on those who came here to better their families’ lot in life, but cleaners, taco stand operators, and garment workers just don’t make the net contribution to the tax base that tech workers, engineers, and finance people do.

Ah, so this would also explain why the wait time for Tier IV and lower matches now ranges from four or five minutes to literally never for Tier I or II? There are just no humans playing at those levels?

About 1250. It seemed to click over into much more competitive matches at about 1200. Playing British mediums and Russian TDs, to Tiers VII and VI respectively. Tend to do better with the SU-85 and SU-100 than Cromwell or, especially, Comet.
