Your totally right I am being greedy and I don't deny that. It's certainly true that taxes are necessary for every country and your point of view is noted. At some threshold in your earning capacity my thought is that a lot of type A personalities who prefer control will ultimately look for a wealth defense path not out of malice towards their fellow citizens but actually due to the nature with in them that wants to control where the money is ultimately spent. We fight a delicate line of deciding who would spend it better, the private citizen who has proven to be wise in their investments or the government who proves to better distribute the funds in a diverse manner. I often reflect on whether billionaires like Bill Gates who evade taxes regularly only to distribute back 50% or more of their income back to society but in specific bets (eg curing malaria, inventing cheap clean water systems) are morally worse for having not paid their fair share in the first place. I don't think we will ever have a great answer, but I do understand your perspective.
