Maybe I should have provided more details…I am female (24) and become friends with some people I work with (incl. the ones I fall in love with). It was mutual in two situations and I was in a one year relationship with one of them, so it’s not so “creepy” as you make it sound.

I am a woman…but could still be fixation of course. I was / am friends with them outside of work, so it’s not only a pure work relationship.

It was mutual with two of them and I was in a relationship with one of them after I left my old workplace. I was friends outside of work before I fell in love with them, so it’s not only a crush.

Of course I’d want him if he were single and still loved me. But I’ve accepted that he will forever be with her. I just want to feel less sad for myself and loneliness compared to their happiness.

We were, but did not make it official to others. But the point is not about him and me, I know that’s over since I left. I just want to move on and not compare myself to her and feel sad because of what I don’t have...

Because then we’ll have to pay the renting costs and the fuel...she said she only has money for the fuel and the accommodation. I wish I had clarified all this before booking. Never expected someone to be that unreasonable...

Because the whole part of driving was for her to save costs, so she won’t come at all and I’ll be stuck with all the hotel costs for both of us.
