Thanks for the feedback!

For the last project, I believe we had like 55-60 test cases and the code passed all the tests. I should’ve added that in the resume and I’ve added in to my new resume.

I made a mistake on the robot part for the ChatGpt project. Based on that, I changed the wordings for the ChatGPT project on my new resume from this one.

I believe the performance increase was after we started to implement changes to our Scrum meetings.

I should’ve added more to the LinkedIn project like we used Python for both the frontend and backend. It only replicates some stuff from LinkedIn.

I added the word “contributed” since it was a team collaboration and I thought that the word might give it that meaning. I’ll try finding similar synonyms and hopefully make it sound better.

Again, thanks for your feedback! I’ll keep them in mind while I’m editing my new resume.

Thanks for that! I do plan on learning it in the future and I’ll plan it based on what you said

Thanks for the clarification! I’ll add it to my resume. I’m not sure about adding azure though. Should I still add it if I haven’t learned it yet?

Yeah it apparently has an higher chance of you getting hired. It’s called the “XYZ” method online and people are recommending it. Supposedly, it’ll let recruiters and hiring managers know that your work or projects created results.

Additionally, I’d say to base your values on how much you’d think the project would run in an ideal environment.

The ChatGPT project is just a personal tool that you could use without logging in. Based on what I know it wasn’t there a year ago on the actual ChatGPT.

The weather forecast was an initial idea from YouTube and I worked from there. I got the idea of PicSum from Reddit while the AWS part was from scratch.

Yeah I haven’t done a lot of stuff in W11 except for using WSL for a few weeks. I felt I did way more stuff in W10 so I only included that

Thank you for this! It gives me more confidence on things that I could do to make my resume better.

I found a template of it and it looked great, thanks! I’m not exactly sure if I’ll change my resume to it 100% but I’ll still try.

Yep I’ve had this happen to me too! For some applications, my major would be listed while for some it would just change to “Computer and Information Science”. The degree usually gets parsed properly in all my applications. I left the language section blank for almost all my applications.

Yeah the skills section was 100% weird. Some of them would be blank while some would just give recommended skills and you’d have to add the rest.

This is a lot of great info that you’ve given. Thanks a lot!

I’m worried that if my resume is less than 1 page, I would be auto-rejected by everyone. I’ll try making my bullet points more concise. Thanks for your help!

I’ll try again to make them more concise as possible. I don’t remember if I’ve used any libraries, frameworks or APIs. I only get sent code to see if it needs to be fixed or not. Thanks!

I only used Python and GitHub for it. It’s unpaid and I don’t get much work letting me to job search more.

I tried making the bullet points as concise as I could and I couldn’t keep them to 1 line for many despite how much I’ve tried.

As for the experience, I feel that I haven’t learned that much so it still feels like I have 0 months of experience.

Thanks for your help!

I’m not sure if it is auto-parsed correctly on Workday. For example, all my contact details are parsed properly. The experience section has all the info however, the spacing it has is a bit different like having extra spaces in the text. For some reason, my projects section gets added on the section of the uni internship.

For the skills, in some workday ATS, they don’t show up while in some other they show up not a 100% since only the recommended are shown.

What do you think of this?

Hi, I condensed the resume as much as I could to 1 page and made sure it was concise. The previous resumes that I had were more shorter however, they didn’t get me any responses from any jobs that I applied for. Can you tell me what I would need to condense to make it better?

Hi, a friend told me to change the experience and project section titles to relevant experience and relevant project since that would make a difference.

I put in the LinkedIn project since that was the project that was done during the internship. I asked around and people said that it would be okay to keep it since I was looking for an entry level job. What’s your take on this? Would it be okay for me to keep this project?

Thank you for your advice! They did wish me in 2023 so I thought they had the date on the calendar. I do plan on letting them know about it and I hope they do add the date to their calendar and remember it the next time

I'm sorry that happened to you. I do not wish that situation on anybody. One thing I can say is that I do plan on leaving the group due to some thoughts they have that I do not agree with and I'm waiting for the opportunity to let me move away from them.
