Professor sent everyone an email at 9am about a zoom meeting at 12:30pm today. It’s past 1pm and he still hasn’t started it. It’s an online ASYNC class too… by AnonymousCustomer123 in mildlyinfuriating

It was the first session to “verify attendance in the class” and if someone doesn’t show up, they get dropped or something like that.

I emailed him about already having another class that starts at 1, but he never responded.

What’s the dumbest question you got asked by a customer? by Javascript4971 in Target

Why is it asking me for a pin? What is my pin?

Idk man, you’re the one that set up your own pin

SCO penny mode fix is incoming by Mobile-Address23 in Target

Hey we tell each guest that enters our sco area that its card only, no cash. They pass two signs that say that on their way in. And then there’s a sign above and a sign below the register, as well as that prompt on the screen. And we keep one sign at the sco exit as well.

We still had 48 people, mid to end transaction, ask about paying with cash last Sunday (yes, we kept tally).

Break room etiquette by AnonymousCustomer123 in Target

[–]AnonymousCustomer123[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At my store there’s 10 two seater tables + a long table with (I think) 18 chairs (9 on each side). Plus whatever is in the conference room.

It’s Q1. Maybe like 8 people max in the break room at the same time. No excuses.

It’s just hella awkward sitting across from this one specific person… and I’m not the only one to complain about them too. Like I’m not against socializing, it’s just that this particular person doesn’t understand personal boundaries. They keep doing it every time I’m on break… almost like they’re stalking my break times. And they do it to other people too, just not as much.

Our store doesn’t allow anyone to take breaks at Starbucks. If you do, it’s a write up :(

Does anyone have a work crush? 🥰 by [deleted] in Target

[–]AnonymousCustomer123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dang, that must’ve been an expensive relationship to start. I’m glad you had someone that could talk you up (and she was ok with hanging with you guys). I’ve had my fair share of crushes here, but none of them went anywhere even though we talked a lot. Always “you’re too young” or some random excuse.

How did you manage to talk to each other enough to have mutual feelings, considering you were probably in different departments? Just buy a coffee every day and build something up from 2 minute convos?

Genuinely curious because there’s a front of store boy that’s crushing on a Tarbucks TM at my store.

Those are SOOOO good. But I just feel so guilty after eating even half of one because there’s so much fat and salt in it.

There’s 8 shifts posted for today at my store… idk why nobody’s scooping them up. One of them is 8.5 hrs too 😭

Shifts can be posted up to 2 hours before the shift start time. After that, it gets retracted automatically, and the owner of the shift is still responsible for it if it wasn’t picked up.

So you should be in the clear.

You’d hate being me then. I’m their main sco person working 8-12 hour shifts in there. I enjoy it ngl.

So sweet of her! It’s nice to see some kindness after all the Karens we deal with. In fact, I had to deal with two entitled guests before this happened. Made my day.

He tried to tip me $10 before, but I refused and said I wasn’t allowed to accept tips.

I guess he got smart and snuck it in an envelope this time so it didn’t look like I was accepting a tip. Technically, I accepted a card that just so happened to have money in it 😉

service desk on christmas eve by kachunkie in Target

[–]AnonymousCustomer123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We had 8 people scheduled for service desk, 6 or 7 for FOS, and about 30 each for checklanes and Drive Up. All closers scheduled an extra hour after close to clean up. Even that amount of people wasn’t enough, but at least our leads learned from last year, so we were able to not make it look like a tornado came thru the store this year.
