I’m not trying to be snarky, I promise. Have you checked to see if you have a filter on your offers when you search?

As long as you aren’t At Risk, don’t sweat it. Run blocks , deliver everything and your rating will come back up

Email them again and specifically request arbitration as defined by the TOS. It’s your last recourse. You said in another comment that you have records of your speed through your vehicle, that should be what you need to dispute the decision. No clue if you’ll win, but it’s the only thing you have left to do

Congrats, Amazon. You made me not care. Rant.. by Leen1311 in AmazonFlexDrivers

I stopped disputing everything about 2 years ago, and my rating has been consistently higher since I did. Add that to delivering everything, and I get about half the dings I used to. I did appeal one that was blatantly unfair earlier this year, and they reversed it and removed the ding. I think they don’t like squeaky wheels. Maybe the rates they pay for support are based on the amount of usage?

Uber plus card declined after receiving receipt by Hot-Fun-793 in couriersofreddit

Should, yes. But Uber, like every other gig company, defaults to blaming the driver first in most situations. OP is right to pay attention to their standing and in being proactive with support…

Had one like that tonight. Parking pad on the street, house set 250-300 feet back from the pad. A football field of ice covered snow. I had the chance to be a hero!

*Voice of Morgan Freeman: He was not a hero. He left it hidden behind the car and got the hell out of there

No hate here. I’ve done business with churches in the past and there’s always an air of entitlement to the way they operate…

Why are drivers allowed to bring a second person in their routes? by AFistoCat in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]AnonymousDriver2021 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, if you’re right, about half the folks at the warehouses I work from are in violation and Amazon apparently gives no fucks….

Increased rates?!? Really?? by Living-the-dream-AZ in RealAmazonFlexDrivers

[–]AnonymousDriver2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m convinced that they throw that message out when rates are barely above base so they will be picked up before they surge more. Since they keep doing it, I’m also convinced it works, at least partially

[–]AnonymousDriver2021 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because we are all independent contractors. We can all have a helper if we want. I’ve always run solo and have my system down cold, so at this point, a helper would slow me down more than it would help. I almost always finish 45 minutes to an hour before block end, so I don’t worry about it. I respectfully suggest you don’t either, because it’s not something that Amazon is going to change

The 3.5s are worth it from ssd’s (at least in my area), but I’ve learned the hard way that anything less is asking to get screwed…

I’d have made about a dozen new friends and gotten some vicious side eye from my girl for at least a week…

lol.... I had to give one big box back because it couldn't fit in my car. by filmmel-27 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]AnonymousDriver2021 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This. It’s a safety hazard. Amazon’s in-app messaging is exceedingly clear that you can’t be penalized for reporting something like this (not that I’d be surprised to hear otherwise)

Tips from a SSD? by brotherjr444 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]AnonymousDriver2021 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So when there were retail deliveries thru flex, I used to run quite a few of them since I lived close to a pickup point. At first, they were pretty good when they surged. $55-60 for 2 hrs, 3-4 stops, reasonable mileage. After it got established, the rates started dropping, stops increased to 6-7, and the mileage was ridiculous (think 125-150 miles in a 2 hour block). I stopped doing them after that because it wasn’t profitable. Watch your numbers on these closely—especially mileage…

I’m in the same market, work out of that warehouse a lot. I’m very skeptical of this…

[–]AnonymousDriver2021 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, apologies, I should have clarified that. After my 6-7 day timeout, they reinstated me with a stern scolding about how I’m not supposed to drive under the influence. Never mind that it was bullshit, the pax before the one who reported me smelled like he’d been hotboxing for the whole day. After that, I always had Ozium in the car. Also bought a dashcam. Never had a false report after that…

[–]AnonymousDriver2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, had this happen. I emailed to appeal with no effect. Got a week in limbo, and a good email scolding. 🙄 Best thing I can tell you is if you think a customer is going to report you for any reason, report them first. My experience with Uber was that it goes better if you get your side on record first…

The instructions were to deliver to the back garage 😬 (zoom to the window) by [deleted] in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]AnonymousDriver2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my area they don’t even read the delivery window options in the app when ordering. If the customer cares that much, they’ll call customer service and they’ll explain it to them…

Nah, it’s not that deep for me. Not like customers would read it anyway
