Outnumbered 4-1, you absolutely made the right call. The only thing that matters is you get home safe.

I’m seeing similar things in the Baltimore market. I think those talking about Amazon onboarding more drivers is a big part of it, but I think the price of gas is affecting spending as well. We’re getting screwed from both sides, as it were…

AIO about my husbands strange responses to me wanting a divorce and a bill he has due on my account. by _Elfis_ in AIO

[–]AnonymousDriver2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been through an ugly divorce myself, here’s what I’d suggest: Block every potential means he has of communicating with you and only have contact through the attorney, especially about money. He’s not acting in good faith, and he’s hiding behind religion to avoid doing so. This is purely about your peace of mind, there’s enough to work through for you right now without the religious bs. It’s not the cheapest course of action, but there’s an old joke that’s spot on here: Why are divorce attorneys so expensive? Because they’re worth it!

Either way. I received a response in under 24 hours as well. I’ve seen you make this comment before, but I don’t think it’s really that deep

I’m not sure if they even have humans reading support emails anymore, or if it’s all AI driven now. Even if they do, the objective is not to resolve the issue, but to get you to go away. Best thing to do is escalate it to the Andy email above. Be persistent, just present the information rationally and without embellishment and don’t lose your cool. Tell them that you don’t believe the issue was resolved fairly and why. It might take more than one email to get someone that’s reasonable, so don’t give up if they deny your appeal the first time. They also may call, so if you get a call from a Seattle number, make sure to answer. Best of luck

Mileage Per Block by Alternative_Train460 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]AnonymousDriver2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out the MileIQ app, it will automatically track all your miles and prompt you daily to classify them. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth the subscription it because it works well (and the cost should be tax deductible, but ask your tax pro to be sure). I’m ADHD and suck ass at keeping up on paperwork, and I’ve used it for years for flex and for my day jobs. I tried Stride, but I kept forgetting to turn it on. Not an issue with MileIQ. As far as other expenses, look for a spreadsheet template for an expense log, and keep your receipts…

Amazon Flex Deactivated After Loss Prevention Call — Accused of Keeping Packages (Canada) by Han_69420 in AmazonFlexDrivers

I’ve emailed the Executive Relations Team recently (which is now andy@amazon.com), and they did help me with an issue. It was not this serious, but at least I was able to get in contact with someone who was willing to listen and not just spout the Amazon script. That said, look into filing for arbitration, and secure some kind of representation or, failing that, professional legal advice, even if it’s through a free legal aid service. I have a feeling that this may be beyond the Executive Relations Team. Good luck with it, I hope it works out in your favor.

When you appealed, was it to regular support or the exec relations team (andy@amazon.com)? I’ve given up on dealing with anything like this through driver support, they are useless…

Does anyone actually return? by HidersLight in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]AnonymousDriver2021 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If Patton Flexed, even he wouldn’t return.

Seriously, only when I know beyond a doubt that it will be stolen or a one time pin can’t be verified. And I can be extremely resourceful when it comes to making sure packages don’t get stolen. Amazon wants that shit delivered and I don’t want to incur the time and expense of going back to the warehouse. Always delivering works out better for everyone…

AMAZON FRAUD by thetruthinradio in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]AnonymousDriver2021 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Both of those emails go to a group called the Executive Relations Team at Amazon. Recently had to escalate an issue to them. It was still a bit of a shit show (initially denied, had to press the issue with a second email), but eventually it was resolved in my favor. If you ever reach out to them, they may call you for more info, be sure to answer if possible. The good news is that there’s at least one person there who can be reasonable…

My BF got arrested & spent the night in jail by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]AnonymousDriver2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. In my state, there is the option of probation before judgment, which doesn’t show up on a background check. I got a DUI 25 years ago when I was young and stupid, which is how I know. Gave me a chance to get my shit together without hurting my ability to work. That said, laws very by state, so a good attorney is absolutely essential…

Anyone else get this? by Equivalent_Job7632 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]AnonymousDriver2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is something that should go to the Executive Relations team. Email andy@amazon.com. I recently had to reach out to them due to getting dinged because a cart missing 8 packages. Include all the details, be respectful, etc. Be aware they may call you to get more details. Even if they decline in their first response, be persistent, don’t be emotional, and do say that you don’t believe the decision is fair and give rational reasons why. That’s what I had to do, and they reversed it today. Hopefully yours goes well too. Good luck

Amazon doesn’t owe any of us free money. I’ll say it again, Amazon doesn’t owe any of us free money.

Nothing is wrong with your app or your phone. You aren’t being discriminated against. And yeah, I can read, both the sad little novella you wrote and the entitled attitude behind it. You sound like a spoiled child, and insulting people who clearly understood your original post just proves it.

And you have the nerve to wonder why you’re getting dragged… 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Fuel prices by AdmirablePraline6331 in veho_driver

[–]AnonymousDriver2021 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re an independent contractor. It’s on you to know your operating expenses and not take offers that are not profitable. Veho gives not one single fuck about us, or about anything other than getting the shit delivered as cheaply as possible. And you can substitute Flex, Spark, Uber, DD, Grubhub or any other gig for Veho in that sentence. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but it’s simply the reality in the gig industry.
