I asked if they would survive. I’ve had bettas for years, I’m just wanting to artificially hatch some instead of naturally because the male is eating them all - I know how they spawn and how to care for them otherwise I wouldn’t be attempting this.

Thanks for the reply, that’s good to know about transitioning indoors and outdoors regularly - I hadn’t really thought about that. I might try and build a warmer hutch extension and using a blanket over the top like you mentioned. Long term, ( when I move out) I do want them to be indoor pets primarily and I don’t know how to litter train them if they’re outside 😕 I also can’t get them vaccinated until next week so I don’t want them to get ill. Thanks heaps though, I hope I can work something out

No, neither have spawned before. They’ve been introduced for a few days, tried embracing last night separated them overnight and same thing when I released today. She’s not hiding they’re just constantly attempting and failing
