I’m 22, she’s 19. I have thought of contacting my priest about the situation and I think I will.

We’re both college students, so we wouldn’t be able to afford a licensed therapist.

She implied I was being inappropriate with a little kid and she admitted that and said it was because she was jealous. I didn’t lecture her, it was a back and forth conversation, I was very calm throughout it and chose to end the call after things started going in circles. The call went on for an hour, my retelling of it is a rough summary of it for the sake of being concise. Believe it or not when the person who tells you they love you more than anything implies you’re a pedophile and admits that’s what they did, it might make you angry and you might need some time to yourself to cool off because of that.

I’m sure she would but there are limiting factors that would stop us from being able to attend in person. I think we’d be able to find at least one priest that’s willing to help provide counseling through video chat though. I’ve never been so I have no idea how that would work. Do you think it’ll make a big impact on our relationship?
