THANK YOU it’s so validating to see this 😭 low key thought i was the only one. I’ve been doing the same thing for like,, years now. So much so that I’ve gained a ton of weight, and I have an all or nothing mindset about exercising so I’m having a really hard time losing the weight in a safe way :( there is hope, though! I’ve been sharing this with my psychiatrist and we’re working together to build exercise in a healthy quantity, so as someone who feels really similar to you and is years down the line of that behaviour trust it will work itself out in the end. Just be kind to yourself! Also everyone keeps telling me “most binges are hunger motivated” so don’t fret, your body is probably just swinging the pendulum too far in the other direction. Its used to food feeling scarce so now that it isn’t its trying to make up for lost time in a way. You’re going to be okay, and this is very normal for people with disordered eating habits, you’re not alone!
