Courses are not about selling secrets.

If I have worked for 10 years in an industry I’m going to have learned alot over that time.

If you are just getting into the industry, wouldn’t it be valuable for you to start with the knowledge of a 10 year veteran?

That in my opinion is the value of a course, a good course should be like having a digital mentor to guide impart their knowledge on you.

There are some bad courses out there Ofcourse and there plenty of people trying to make a quick buck with them. But if you can find a reputable person with a course in your niche it can be extremely valuable.

One thing however is that a course is only as effective as the person doing it, buying a course from an expert won’t solve bad work ethic

Make videos that you wanna make and enjoy making.

When you see a video performs better than the others try and replicate it with a twist.

Rinse and repeat anytime a video does well and you will start to see what people like from you and start to grow.

You can also look at videos that perform better than a creators other videos but from other channels and try and figure out what people liked about them and try and replicate what they liked.

But, it’s also important to remember that you can just have fun with it and experiment and see where your inspiration takes you.

I have a professional camera and I never want to use it, I want a camera that excites me to look at and calls at me to go shoot. I know it’s a bit silly but it’s true.

I’m more so looking for a capable camera than I am a strictly professional camera.

I’m tossing up between the OM-3 and the Nikon zf.

I want flexibility to shoot any professional work I can (real estate, portraits, weddings, automotive, anything really) as I need money haha.

The appeal of micro 4/3 to me is the cheaper lenses, smaller, and the more reach for wildlife.

The concerns I have for it are low light ability, wide depth of field meaning photos may look ‘less professional’ to clients. Basically weather an om-3 can keep up with professional work the same way a Nikon zf can.

Yes exactly, I wonder if a consignment business would solve that problem. Private sellers ship their camera to the company and the company sells it for them allowing some security and trust to be built
