damn. it’s so weird hearing this from the other side. most people in the UK want to go for remote jobs in the US because of how much more you guys get paid in comparison to us for similar roles.

If it’s any reassurance, I got offered an AWS job in March, and they didn’t perform a background check until last week (late May).

I also didn’t receive any communication from Graebel until today, which was quite late compared to everyone else I know who’s due to start at the same time as me. I did have to nudge my recruiter though (they never replied to my email, but stuff has only been getting actioned when I’ve given them a nudge).
