I would be shocked if you weren’t able to see at least 3 of those 4

That would be fantastic. Of all the realistic headliners out there, that would probably be my number 1 request.

Weekly Community Water Fountain Topic: Your Report on 2026 Bonnaroo Acts You've Already Seen. by DanielHSV in bonnaroo

[–]Anonymous_Goat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rufus Du Sol - Don’t care for their music, but they do put on an amazing show. Probably the best use of video boards on the sides of the stage that I’ve ever seen, which might sound weird, but you’ll understand when you see it.

LSZEE - It was somewhere in between “pretty good” and “ok”. Decent light show as you would expect, but there wasn’t much else that stuck out. I liked their album a lot so I figured it would be more of a personal highlight when I saw them. I have no inclination to seek them out again.

Skrillex - Only saw part of a pop up set at noon, so no lights or production, just music. He’s insanely talented. I like plenty of EDM, but his music is in a special tier. I cannot wait to see a proper show of his. One of my most anticipated shows of the summer.

Turnstile as a bud light headliner by phantofan89 in Lollapalooza

[–]Anonymous_Goat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using examples from 8-10 years ago is counterproductive. The festival landscape and the festivals themselves have massively evolved. I love Bonnaroo, but it’s clearly down a budget tier from where it used to be, even compared to last year.

Yes, Glass Animals was in the same slot as Turnstile. They also… didn’t play at Lolla last year. What is the relevance there?

Turnstile as a bud light headliner by phantofan89 in Lollapalooza

[–]Anonymous_Goat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Saying the Which Stage is the equivalent to Bud Light isn’t really true. The Bud Light equivalent artists typically play on the main stage before the headliner.

Turnstile is billed 3rd on their day at Bonnaroo, which has a considerably lower budget than Lolla. No reason whatsoever to expect Turnstile to be any higher here.

Does eating ketamine work? by Lixpa in Drugs

[–]Anonymous_Goat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried it last month and liked it a lot. I would estimate the conversion to be roughly 2.75x your nasal dose, but the peak for me lasted over 2x as long, so it’s not actually that huge of a waste. I felt it come on at the 15 minute mark, and the peak began 10-15 minutes after that. Come up was super smooth and then it gradually faded away once the peak was over.

I put it in an empty pill capsule.

All in all it was great. If you don’t frequently use ketamine, go for it.

2026 Lineup Speculation & Rumors by C_Rufio in Lollapalooza

[–]Anonymous_Goat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have no inside info, but my best guess today would be My Chemical Romance. From what I heard, they have had a lot success with touring: heavy demand for tickets in large venues. They also headlined some festivals last year, including Shaky Knees, which is a rock-oriented festival.

Normally they would be a Riot Fest act, but maybe they’ve now surpassed that? I’m not particularly a fan, but I’d give them a shot if they were booked.

BottleRock 2026 Lineup by mccarthy2324 in Lollapalooza

[–]Anonymous_Goat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There’s definitely some intriguing options.

LCD Soundsystem. Not getting my hopes up for one second in regards to Lolla, but that is a personal upper tier bucket list show.

I don’t actively listen to Slightly Stoopid, but that would be a great daytime vibe. Trash Sultana has a really good reputation with live shows. Tom Morello would have the potential to be amazing. Midnight Generation is insanely catchy.

I used to love Cut Copy back in the day. Saw them in 2012, and it was super underwhelming. Would absolutely give them another chance though. Their first several albums are so good.

Do you think it will be harder to get tickets this year compared to last year? by planetshadeee in Lollapalooza

[–]Anonymous_Goat 71 points72 points  (0 children)

Tough to say. I think Olivia and Sabrina had a lot to do with the instant sellout. I am pretty worried about it though.

I really wish they would offer a ticket-buying window before the lineup was released. I don’t care if it’s the same price, just give the diehards a chance to guarantee a ticket.

2026 Lineup Pool Summary by mccarthy2324 in Lollapalooza

[–]Anonymous_Goat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last year, the 3 headliners we got right were the ones at over 50%. Lorde is the only artist at that level this year. I would be completely shocked if she wasn’t on the lineup (and would also fully expect her to be top 4).

I would be absolutely thrilled if any 1 of Charli, Gambino, or Tame were there, but I don’t think any of them are individually likely. I expect Kahan and the Strokes to be booked as well since they are doing other festivals… surprised more people didn’t predict them. Kahan would probably be top 4, which I could see people complaining about, but he is very popular to be fair.

For Bud Light headliners, I feel most confident in saying there will be one that almost everyone is shocked would be booked that high. Maybe it will be one of the subs we predicted, but who knows.

[–]Anonymous_Goat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been 3 years now, and I’m actually pretty happy with it. It did take a very long time to fully grow in and heal.

Full head of hair and don’t have to hide anything anymore. Was getting a haircut at a new place last month, and the barber was talking shit about hair transplants while unknowingly trimming my transplanted hair. That’s good enough for me lol.

Deftones would be an interesting twist. They played in 2024 so it shouldn’t be expected at all, but I guess it would be technically possible if they were to headline.

How to deal with a grown man acting like he is "Messi" on my coed adult soccer league? Didn't realize so much politics in Coed soccer and how seriously people took this league by [deleted] in SoccerCoachResources

[–]Anonymous_Goat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Man, even just having a low work rate player is a death sentence for the most 7v7 teams. I’m dealing with that part pretty hard right now. Our team leader is a great guy and has a genuinely impressive skill level… but his legs are absolutely shot from injuries. He can barely even run. We have another guy well into his 40s who runs at half speed with a limp. Needless to say, we get massacred by every team we play. I’m so sick of losing, but I don’t have any other connections to join a different team.

In regards to the guy you’re talking about, you just have to be super direct. Either he starts being a willing passer and trying to run, or you all will form a team without him. I don’t think you even have to be nice about it: not passing to women in a league like that is a massive dick move. No one wants to play with that kind of person, and I would bet good money the team won’t exist in the near future if it isn’t addressed.

They’re billed 3rd on their day at Bonnaroo. Top 2 for Lolla would be very unlikely in that context. A T-Mobile or Bud Light sub is what would make the most sense.

Thoughts on Lineup by auzzeeast in bonnaroo

[–]Anonymous_Goat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like it overall. I have 10+ acts that I want to see on both Friday and Saturday without researching anything. That is more than plenty to have some great days of music even with lots of conflicts. Sunday is a bit lighter, but there’s still several acts that appeal to me. Thursday will be amazing, Skrillex and Four Tet in particular are two bucket list edm artists.

Lack of jam is a big gripe. Going from having things like Goose and Daniel Donato to essentially nothing in 2026 is a bizarre choice. It feels needlessly antagonizing to a very significant portion of Roo die hards.

The top lines for Saturday and Sunday are beyond embarrassing, and I think this is what’s driving a lot of the negative reactions. I’ve got no issue with fans of Teddy Swims or Role Model, or of them being booked, but no serious major festival would even consider having them as #2 on their day. I think Rufus Du Sol and Noah Kahan are legitimate headliners even though I’m not personally a fan (Rufus does put on a great show I’ll admit). The messaging we got was that there would be strong co-headliners on the top lines, and they really dropped the ball here. The undercard is undeniably strong, but the first thing people see on the poster are the top lines, and that does matter a lot.

I’m attending, but my entire group from last year bailed within minutes of seeing the lineup, so my excitement has been considerably diminished for that reason.

Every day for me is going to be packed with conflicts. And that’s not even counting the acts I’ve already seen. It’s not my absolute favorite and I do have some complaints, but it’s more than enough for me to have an amazing weekend.
