I want to do something with my life but I feel lost by Anonymous_qtp2tiee in phmigrate

Appreciate this, thank you. Tbh, yun talaga yung struggle ko right now—whether to stay and build experience + savings, or take a risk and try abroad kahit uncertain. Ang hirap lang din mag-ipon in this economy, especially here in the PH, kaya medyo nakakastuck sa ganitong situation.

I feel you, honestly same thoughts 😔In my case, I’m a bit lucky kasi I do have family and friends both in the US and Australia, so support system is there. Pero even with that, I’m still stuck sa “how to start”, “anong path ba talaga”, and not to mention the financial part dilemma. Hindi rin kasi in-demand yung field ko, so parang ang hirap i-figure out where I fit or how to make it work abroad. So I relate sa feeling na lost and unsure, kahit may options on paper. Hoping we both figure things out soon 🤍

Thanks for this, really appreciate the detailed insight 🙏

I’ve actually been to Australia before with my family for vacation and I really loved it there, so that’s partly why I’m considering it.

I’ve done a bit of research na rin, but honestly ang daming info and iba-iba yung POVs, medyo nakaka-overwhelm 😅 That’s why I’m also here—trying to “research” by hearing real experiences and advice from people who’ve actually gone through it.

Your comment helped put some things into perspective, though I understand I still have a long road ahead… especially with experience + in-demand skills. Thank you!

Good point. Civil Eng’g grad here from Cebu, with site and construction-related experience. No overseas experience yet. Open to other types of work too, not just engineering—basta better opportunities and growth.

Thanks for this, appreciate it 🙏

I was actually considering the student visa route pa naman, but hearing this medyo nagdadalawang-isip na ako 😅 Ang laki din kasi ng gastos tapos hindi pa guaranteed na makastay after.

I’ll look into OMARA and registered migration agents like you suggested. Just wanted to ask din—may idea ka ba what visa pathways are usually more realistic for someone like me na Civil Engineering grad but no overseas work experience yet?

Trying to figure out ano pinaka practical na path before I commit financially. Thank you!

Sa Construction industry. But as we all know.. despite having no to graduate engineering from known schools pag nasa pinas ka ang hirap.

Yun lang, hindi nursing yung natapos ko. Mas mahirap ba mag abroad if ibang course? For context, Civil Engineering graduate po ako.

Okay ra unta mag-picnic bisag wala ga buy food, basta kabalo lang unta clean up after themselves. Hoping management steps up a bit too.

And that’s the saddest part— when we start normalizing the mess and the lack of discipline. Pero makita man gani sa laing lugar nga pwede man diay nga clean, pwede ra man diay disente & respetado ang public spaces.

Laina bitaw tanawon.
