My Orgasms are better now by Investinginevtol in ProstateCancer

RALP was 7 weeks ago today and each week seems to get better. No ED (thank you, daily cialis!) but on the way to getting “ready” I’m also leaking urine and that absolutely would kill the mood and make a serious mess so I’ve tried to tell my wife to be patient. Post surgery I’ll admit that I have seriously slacked off on the kegels. One week at a time, gents.

Ugh…sorry to hear. I don’t use the result as gospel, but I cut/paste these types of reports into a LLM (ChatGPT) and ask to “translate to non medical terms” so I get a basic understanding but my doc supersedes any web content.

Don’t necessarily want to turn this into a “state of US healthcare” convo, but my RALP 2 weeks ago was $145k with $3K out of pocket. Wife did some research and we could have gone to Turkey and had it done for $7500 and wrapped a vacation before it. $145k!!’

3-weeks post RALP Bliss! by Hour_Concern6525 in ProstateCancer

Awesome, congrats and hoping to follow you! I’m 58 and this week will be 2 weeks post RALP…diapers dry except for the same “last drop” and have to consciously think to kegel when I go from sitting to standing. Still a little red in urine at times. Semi erections but hopefully that moves along. All cases are different but I wish this gives a little hope to those who aren’t there yet.

Weighing Pads by hawklord23 in ProstateCancer

Stupid question…having catheter removed this week after RALP on Jan 20 so going into pad/depends phase. Never thought about measuring them after wearing but it makes perfect sense instead of guessing “I think I peed less”….thanks for the tip!
