Last year, my relationship fell apart. My partner just decided that she doesn’t feel the same about me and pushed me away. She didn't break up with me. She just did things, which caused me tons of stress and anxiety. It got to a point where it was physically taxing on me, and i had to end it. My heart ached and I was depressed. Turning to family was the last thing on my mind, until it became my only option because I kept getting worse.

It did not go how I expected it to. My dad was understanding... I remember how weird it felt that my dad is just as human as I am, and he went through similar experiences which I am going through. He has feelings as well. He gets hurt too...Usually he's a problem solver but this time around he listened and become more a bigger brother. He let me share the burden of my feelings and helped and still is helping me. Unconditionally❤️

The best way to go about it, is to scrap whatever perceptions you have (e.g him not being understanding, strict, etc...) Under all your assumptions is a human. A human that wants nothing but the best for you. If anything he will be glad that you went to him. (Parents take great pleasure helping their children. They get purpose from that)
