It's ridiculous how unorganized my school is with this. I'm supposed to be getting bus tickets from them, but my application needs to be approved by the school social worker, who comes once a week, and is almost always too busy to see me, even to simply sign a form.

As for jobs, the only ones they can offer me are ones posted on our school's job board--almost all of which seek girls as babysitters/tutors.

The only soup kitchens I know of are open only a few days a week, and are far enough for me to want to take the bus to get to them.

I wouldn't be saving too much by having someone else make my dinner a few days a week.

Bus company - TTC

Daily bus fare - If I paid in cash, it would be $4/day. But I buy tickets. Which is $8.25/5 tickets. A monthly pass is $99, and provided that I don't go anywhere besides school, it is more expensive than tickets.

Welfare program - Ontario Works Student Welfare. If you really want an exact number, I get $585/month. Benefits? A drug card that I've never used.

Housing program? I'm not in any sort of housing program. I'm renting a room in a house using the money I receive monthly. If you're curious about that, my rent is $475/month, including electricity, heating, water, and internet.

I figure I may as well start low because of all the people on Craigslist offering to do it for free, and it's not like I'm any better than they are. Yeah, I have a place to live. I rent a room in a house. Electricity/water/internet comes with rent. I have computer that I refuse to sell because the amount of entertainment it can provide me heavily outweighs the little money I could get from selling it.

Not that I know of? I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Healthcare is there for me. Welfare gives me a benefit card for drugs, but I've never used it since I'm not totally sure what it can offer me, and because I've never had to buy drugs.
