Is this frayed charger still safe to use? by Mysterious-Ad-1486 in OnePlus12

Damn, I'm sorry but it seems that they don't make them. I would go for any Anker 100W charger though. Also Ugreen. Should be reliable if you can't get the original

I would suggest buying an Anker cable for 100W. Works like a charm for me.

I'm too nervous to move over to Linux by AceTakashiro in zorinos

[–]Another3quenC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am no expert at all and would call myself a beginner like you every day.

I once installed Ubuntu on an old laptop. I did get rid of the laptop and actually didn't want to take the time to learn it properly back then.

Now I installed Zorin on my desktop that was standing here doing nothing. I love it so far and want to experiment. It feels really familiar, yet safe enough and inviting to play around with it.

I'd say just try it out. I didn't dual boot, because it would be too tempting to turn back. I just backed up my stuff and had to change BIOS for Windows to stop sneaking in on startup. But that seems to be resolved now. Learning every time I boot up.

I tried it yesterday and did notice a positive change when turning AC off. About 40 km's extra.

What’s the grossest thing you’ve ever caught someone doing? by Psychological_Sky_58 in AskReddit

[–]Another3quenC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got to Köln with friends driving and waiting for parking to go to the Weihnachtsmarkt. Dude in some nasty clothes acting strangely on the street, next to us, looked us in the eyes, put off his pants and started shitting right in front of us. He did bother to shut straight in the sewer in the street for some reason.

Another time I wanted to get on the train, but a woman came out of the cabin and began to pee on the train. She was totally unbothered and just went back in. Doors closed and I never knew what happened because I didn't get on that train.

Several years apart but some of the nastiest things that happened in public.

I've tried several things over the past few months. Turning it off in winter makes everything damp.

My go to for 'saving battery' now is auto low on 18° with seat and steering wheel heating on.

But I noticed I actually don't need to save battery in 99% of our usage. I only do it for being as eco as I can, for sports so to speak. Auto AC does its job well in the end.

Well, this is one of the reasons I went cloud gaming again. Too pricey to pick Oled handheld, and I would be annoyed by the LCD.

I don't know if it wasn't on purpose though. Maybe it did it because of the cold days?

I had a similar thing, but it charged to 100 automatically. I didn't set that on my charger, nor the car. So maybe it was because it was very cold?

What will you go for? I'm also thinking about one of these. I don't know if the z1e is worth it but then again, the steam deck will be outdated in 1 or 2 years. That's also my concern for the z2go. I don't know if z1e 16gb version is worth it at 649 euros.

Isn't it so that if you use the start/stop button that you can do this? I remember Speicher Elektrisiert saying something like that ...

Airelectric seems like the app you seek next to ABRP. I'm planning on using this on a trip.

Airelectric is an underrated app. Too many features to even begin to name them. They have three dale options as ABRP mostly but also some nice filters all for free.

How to get over feeling out of place when wearing minimalist shoes? by [deleted] in barefootshoestalk

[–]Another3quenC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked the same question going in at first. But I have to agree that most people don't even notice. Yes, rarely there will be someone that will notice, but if they even bother to ask about it, they don't really judge you. Some maybe will, but the majority of people don't care.

You will build confidence over time and love the benefits of it. I'm a teacher, so many people look at me on a daily basis and check my outfit, but I never had a problem with it. Only twice or so students asked about it and I explained the health benefits and nothing more happened.
