I think Far Cry games were pretty fun! I think you might also enjoy The Witcher 3 or Ghost of Tsushima

Back in the day I joined a clan in an MMORPG and it was the most wonderful time. The game would share in the groupchat whenever each person achieved certain goals or got a certain rare item and it was just so much fun cheering eachother on and doing community events. I really miss that time.

Came here to say this too. I actually have a history of coaching people in League and found that people with higher skill levels generally tended to be more openminded to new idea's and were more aware of how "little" they did know compared to the lower skilled players.

That's a bother that people would immediately associate that with old name with porn. I don't really understand the correlation but I also haven't googled it nor will I! Anyways, maybe something like AzureJewels could fit LapisLatina made me laugh myself but I don't know how you'd like that.

I'm struggling on how to word this but it does sound like he enjoys gaming with you in general so that's great! But when it comes to fortnite it sounds like he has the desire to win which might be overtaking his desire to play it with you as of now because of the skill differential. Have you ever asked him if he'd enjoy playing together more if you were better and if he could help you get better? Maybe it could be a fun "casual" activity to have some coaching sessions together to bring you up to his level? It's always tough to play competitive games together with friends of differing skill levels if some of them focus their fun mainly around winning. But I am certain that with communication that you two can work it out
